The fight between the Russian and the Brazilian will lead the UFC Vegas 14 tournament, which will take place on November 14.
Nurmagomedov announced his retirement on October 24, after defeating American Justin Gaethje.
Earlier it was reported how McGregor is preparing for his return to the UFC.
