The resignation of the Director of the Competitions Department of the Egyptian Football Association

 Engineer Hossam El-Zinati, Director of the Egyptian Football Association's Competitions Department, announced his resignation from his post at the end of the 2019-2020 local league competition.

The Egyptian Football Association stated on its official Facebook page today, Sunday, that Hossam El-Zinati presented his full vision for the new season 2020-2021 after meeting with representatives of the Premier League clubs, especially with regard to the Egyptian Olympic team gathering before participating in the Olympic Games finals, and so on. It is followed by the completion of local competitions without the Olympic team players, in light of the desire of most clubs to establish the league in its usual form of 34 rounds.

The proposed list and terms of the competition presented by Hossam Al-Zanati also included all the possibilities that the competition could face and were not previously included in it, such as identifying the champion and the two landers in emergency situations that prevent the completion of the competition.

Al-Zanati said that the step of his resignation is considered natural after the end of the Egyptian League, as it comes for professional reasons related to it, indicating that he greatly benefited from this experience, which came in an exceptional and confusing season for football in the whole world as a result of the Corona pandemic, stressing his happiness to be able to end the competition despite all challenges That you encountered.
