Yesterday, Leksand announced that they had been hit by their first confirmed case of covid-19.

Now the SHL has decided to postpone the match they would have played tonight, away against Brynäs.

- Each case is unique and decisions are always made based on the overall medical assessment.

Leksand has previously had a player with a confirmed infection and on the grounds that additional players showed symptoms during the day, one of which was tested positive, and that they are still waiting for further test results, the decision is made to postpone Thursday's match, says Johan Hemlin, sports director and vice president in the SHL, to the league's website.

It is not known which players were infected.
