To say that Leksand and SDE offered great hockey entertainment would be a lie.

But the two teams, which are second to last and third last in the SDHL, gave the viewers great drama.

It was goalless until the second and final half of the third and final period.

Timeout that was successful

But after 10.21, SDE's Kelly Apperson was shown slashing.

Leksand then requested a timeout, and it turned out to be a successful move.

For Wilma Johansson, the technology won, and Annie Silén got the puck.

She broke in and fired a shot that Lindsey Post saved.

But Hanna Sköld took care of the return and set what for a long time seemed to be the match's only goal.

- A good action.

You win the technique and get a shot on goal from a bad angle to get a better shooting position in the middle of the track, says SVT Sports expert Maria Rooth.

Receipt in six to four

The goal thus looked for a long time to be the only one of the match, but with only 17 seconds left to play, SDE managed to equalize.

- It is clear that it sucks to let in the closing seconds, says Leksand's goalkeeper Amanda Johansson to SVT Sport.

In game six against four (powerplay and the goalkeeper picked out) Julie Zwarthoed pulled with a direct shot in the middle of the attack zone and the match went to extra time.

It became goalless, despite a Leksand expulsion where SDE created several hot situations in the subsequent powerplay game.

"It's awful"

Thus, the match had to be decided on penalties, where Leksand's Ella Albinsson was the only one to score and thus ensured that the extra points ended up in Dalarna.

- It is clear that we are disappointed that we could not take three points full time, but we got two points and took the first home win, says Amanda Johansson.

It was not as happy in the SDE camp.

- It is terrible that we do not get three points, which was the goal, says SDE's Vendela Olsson, and continues:

- We fight well, but the pucks do not finish, which I think was a shame.

This is something we need to correct so that we can make it work.
