It was an even, open and swinging match where the home team showed no respect for a somewhat favorite tipped Hammarby.

Both teams had their share of half chances.

In Östersund, Blair Turgott was alert while Hammarby had many advances through, among others, Gustav Ludwigson and Alexander Kacaniklic.

The longer the first half lasted, the more Hammarby took over the game and Östersund had to rely on scattered counterattacks.

Gustav Ludwigson had the most dangerous chance when he saw his ball slip just outside in stoppage time.

Östersund's best chance also happened in stoppage time.

The very last kick was Turgott who from an offside position pushed in a return on shot from Felix Hörberg.

But the case was correctly ruled out.

The goals came in second

The second half was not quite so swinging.

The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Gustav Ludwigson had a fantastic opportunity to put Alexander Kacaniklic up another goal 53 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.

Nine minutes later, Kacaniklic was able to lead 2-0 to Hammarby on a pass from Simon Sandberg.

Alexander Kacaniklic was also involved in Hammarby's third goal when he served Aron Johannsson the ball after a fine attack.

Östersund's most dangerous player Blair Turgott broke through and reduced to 1-3 when there were 12 minutes of regular time left and gave the match a little nerve.
