Real Madrid regain its balance and shock Barcelona with a big victory in El Clasico

Real Madrid dealt a heavy blow to its stubborn traditional opponent Barcelona and beat them 1/3 in their own home on Saturday in the first Clásico match between the two teams this season that brought them together in the seventh stage of the Spanish Football League.

The Real clinched a precious victory over Barcelona and the royal team regained some balance after two consecutive defeats at home to Cadiz, 0/1 in the Spanish League last Saturday, and against Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine 2/3 in the Champions League last Wednesday.

The first half of the match ended with a 1-1 draw, as Real shot the net through Uruguayan Federico Valverde in the fifth minute, and the brilliant youngster Ansu Fati tied for Barcelona in the eighth minute to be his fourth goal with Barcelona in the current season in the Spanish League.

In the second half, and despite Barcelona's relatively superior performance and opportunities, the Real Madrid advanced through the penalty kick, which was hit by Sergio Ramos in the 63rd minute.

Croatian substitute Luka Modric doubled the plight of Barcelona by scoring the third goal for Real in the 90th minute.

Real raised its score to 13 points to stand alone at the top of the competition table and Barcelona's balance stuck at seven points in tenth place after suffering its second successive defeat in the competition.
