Major investment Brynäs runs like the train in SDHL.

The Gävle team tonight took their tenth victory in eleven matches, when they scored eight goals for the second match in a row.

Most recently, it was 8-5 away against Leksand, and tonight 8-1 at home against AIK.

They took the big victory despite AIK's Erica Udén Johansson pushing in a return and making it 1-0.

Stalder put the receipt

But the joy was short-lived.

One and a half minutes later, the league's points league leader Lara Stalder broke in from the edge and flicked distinctly in 1-1.

Stalder also made many Brynäs supporters gasp in fear, as she early in the second period (after Katerina Mrazova made it 2-1 to Brynäs) got a hard tackle in front of goal.

She lay on the ice for a while and writhed in pain, but was finally able to get up and get off the ice for her own machine, and then continue playing and made two assists, among other things.

The rest of the match was not very exciting.

Brynäs played out AIK in total, and thus won in the end with a full 8-1.
