Al-Ahly announces the negative "Corona smear" hours before the Wydad confrontation with the African champions

The director of football in the Egyptian Al-Ahly team, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, announced the negativity of the medical swab that the team's players underwent to detect the Corona virus, hours before the Moroccan Wydad Casablanca confrontation this evening in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League for football.

Al-Ahly players underwent a medical examination on the sidelines of the team's training, in accordance with the medical procedures approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly, the record holder in the number of times winning the championship with eight titles, entered a closed camp on Wednesday in preparation for facing Wydad.

Al-Ahly won 2-0 back in the match that brought the two teams together at the (Mohammed V) stadium in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, where the goals of the match came through Mohamed Magdy Afsha and the Tunisian professional Ali Maaloul.
