Djurgården announced today that five players tested positive for covid-19 after the match against Leksand on Tuesday.
This led the Swedish Ice Hockey Association's competition committee to, in consultation with the SHL, decide to postpone the team's match against Växjö on Tuesday.
The same decision was made regarding the match Luleå – Linköping, which should have been played on the same day.
This after several cases of covid-19 infection in the LHC.
- The infection control work continues with very good management of the team and their medical team.
The medical assessment still remains and therefore Tuesday's matches with the infected teams will also be postponed, announces Johan Hemlin, sports director and vice president of SHL, on the league's website.
New game dates have not yet been announced.
