They choose to postpone the match due to security reasons while waiting for the medical situation to clear up.

- Our doctor has since yesterday been in contact with the Infection Control Unit in Stockholm and we follow the clear protocol established by the league, says sports manager Joakim Eriksson to the club's website.

Djurgården has had a dialogue with SHL and Skellefteå about the situation and all parties agree that the match will not be played on Thursday.

- As I said, we have received two players with positive Covid messages and another player who has fallen ill during the day.

The two club doctors in Djurgården and Skellefteå have during the evening had contact and jointly decided to postpone the match based on the medical situation in DIF right now, says Joakim Eriksson.

The match is the second in Thursday's SHL round to be postponed after Linköping-Oskarshamn, as was announced yesterday.
