Manchester United made a financial loss of the equivalent of SEK 263 million for the most recent financial year, which ended on 30 June.

The reason is that United lost television money and audience revenue in the spring when the Premier League season was interrupted due to the corona pandemic.

The English football club has lost 19 percent of revenue, which at the end of the financial year landed at 5.8 billion kronor.

This year's season is underway, but without an audience, and United are therefore leaving no forecast for the coming years.

"Getting the supporters back to the stands in a safe way and as soon as possible has the highest priority," says Vice Chairman Ed Woodward.
