China News Service, October 20. According to the official website of the International Skating Federation, the French Grand Prix of Figure Skating, originally scheduled to be held in Grenoble from November 13-15, has been cancelled.

Since then, the originally scheduled six-stop series of Grand Prix only has four stops in China, Japan, Russia and the United States.

It is reported that due to the severe epidemic situation in France, the organizers finally decided to cancel the French Grand Prix of Figure Skating.

Earlier, the Canadian Grand Prix of Figure Skating and the Four Continent Championships were also announced to be cancelled.

At the beginning of October, the ISU official website announced that it decided to postpone or cancel the figure skating grand prix final as the Beijing Winter Olympics test event.

With the cancellation of the French Grand Prix, the fate of this year's figure skating Grand Prix finals has become less optimistic.

It is worth mentioning that the US Grand Prix, which starts this weekend, is determined to start as planned, with no spectators.
