Patrik Jemteborn is today very happy that the sports movement that arranges international competitions can go further with covid-securing the implementation as far as possible.

- For us in Östersund, we have a World Cup competition planned for next season, says Patrik Jemteborn.

Say that the pandemic continues, as many people believe, then we are sure that we can receive international sports players for it.

- Then there is a straw to take over a competition.

We were asked earlier if we could be on standby if there is a second wave in Europe and if any of our colleagues find it difficult.

Not bitter

Just over a month ago, the World Cup in Östersund already wanted a quick message from the government to ease entry restrictions.

And so they came now, when the Swedish organizers have already got rid of their competition.

Patrik Jemteborn shows no disappointment over it.

- There is no reason to be bitter.

It does not suit us athletes.

We understand that the issue has been complicated and now we have received a positive message.

Now we look forward.

There will be more international and important events and that is where we will put the energy, says Patrik Jemteborn.
