Three Swedish national team players helped Krasnodar to finally crawl past all obstacles to reach the group stage.

In the decisive playoff matches, Paok Thessaloniki was defeated.

The first visit to the club's fine room takes place at Roazhon Park - or Stade de la Route de Lorient as the arena was long called - in Rennes.

Probably two of the national team stars are on the field on Tuesday night - Kristoffer Olsson in midfield and Marcus Berg at the top.

Groin injury stops Claesson?

Viktor Claesson will probably have to wait for his debut in the Champions League.

The offensive midfielder limped off with a suspected groin injury in the league match against Rubin Kazan last Saturday.

But there will be more matches.

-It will be incredibly fun with the Champions League, Claesson said in connection with the latest national team gathering.

He followed the group game draw together with Kristoffer Olsson at Marcus Berg's home.

- "Mackan" has not played in the Champions League yet so he said it: "Take advantage of this chance, you never know when it will come again".

And it is the first time for Krasnodar as a club as well, says Claesson.

"Last chance for me"

Marcus Berg:

- For me personally, it means a lot.

It was my last chance to play it.

We were in the playoffs last year as well and went out against Olympiakos.

Then it was damn tough.

There was a lot of stress and pressure before these matches.

We felt we could not go out to Paok.

All respect for them, but I think we are a better team.

It was an incredible relief.

- It will be fantastic to play on the biggest stage with the club team, says the veteran who is in his last season in Krasnodar.

During the years in London, the youth professional Kristoffer Olsson followed his Arsenal regularly in the Champions League.

At the age of 25, he achieves a personal goal in his career.

- For my own part, it is huge.

It is something you have been dreaming about since you were little.

I've always watched the Champions League.

So in that way, it is a dream come true.

Then when you are there now, it is clear that we want to make results.

In addition to Rennes, Chelsea and Sevilla are waiting in the group stage.

- In advance, it is probably not a nightmare draw, but at the same time it is the Champions League and three very tough teams.

We have to do maximum performance to be able to score points, says Kristoffer Olsson.
