For the first day of the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain lost to Manchester United (1-2).

Stade Rennais and FC Krasnodar separate on a score of 1-1, for the Bretons' first in C1.

The French clubs' debut in the Champions League could have been much better: Paris Saint-Germain lost to Manchester United at the Parc des Princes (1-2), while Stade Rennais will have to settle for one point for his debut in the most prestigious European competition against the Russians FC Krasnodar (1-1).

For both, it will be necessary to be shown to be much more realistic, from next week.

Parisians not at best

Paris Saint-Germain displayed a contrasting face at home, in a closed stadium. Faced with dangerous Mancuniens in phases and physically engaged, Thomas Tuchel's men did not seem as sparkling as in the past. The Red Devils punished them twice, by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
