In the premiere, the matches Nässjö – Södertälje and Umeå – Jämtland were postponed - the reason was that Nässjö had eleven players infected by covid 19, and Umeå noted six cases.

On Friday, it was thought that both teams would play their first respective matches, but there will be nothing this time either.

The freezer house towards Nässjö and Umeå – Södertälje may be postponed - the situation has worsened further within the clubs Nässjö and Umeå.

- There are many cases of corona in both teams.

Nässjö had eleven players who fell ill on Friday and now there have been further cases of illness, and there are more in Umeå now as well, says the Basketball Association's competition manager Olle Lundén to SVT Sport.

No new date has been set.

Tougher restrictions

A bigger question, however, is how it will be with Uppsala's home matches in the ladies' basketball.

During the day, stricter guidelines have been introduced in the city where, among other things, people are advised not to arrange or participate in parties or similar social gatherings.

This shall also apply to sports facilities.

- We will see with Uppsala what applies with their matches at home, says Olle Lundén.
