"Damn" derby for CSKA

In the central match of the 11th round in the Moscow derby, CSKA and Dynamo met.

At the same time, the blue and white approached the game with a new head coach.

The place of Alexander Kulchiy, who led the team in the meeting with Krasnodar, was taken by the young German specialist Sandro Schwartz.

However, Kulchiy was still preparing the team for the match against CSKA.

Under his leadership, Dynamo hoped to extend their successful streak against the army team.

The last time the blue and white were inferior to CSKA more than four years ago - in April 2016.

Then Dynamo lost with a minimum score on the road.

However, in comparison with the previous game, the coach made only one change.

The place of experienced Sergei Parshivlyuk on the right edge of the defense was taken by 21-year-old Sergei Slepov, who played only 71 minutes this season.

Viktor Goncharenko, on the contrary, managed to surprise his counterpart.

For example, Viktor Vasin went to the right flank of the defense.

He replaced Mario Fernandez, who, while at the national team's location, passed a questionable coronavirus test.

And on the left flank of the attack was the newcomer Chidera Ejuke.

At the same time, Fyodor Chalov appeared at the forefront of the attack.

Chalov's canceled goal

And already in the first minutes, the striker of the Russian youth team managed to open an account.

After the transfer of Konstantin Kuchaev, the forward beat the defender and struck Anton Shunin under the supporting leg.

However, the judge Vladislav Bezborodov, after watching the replay, determined that the CSKA midfielder had violated the rules in the fight with Daniil Fomin and canceled the goal.

Dynamo responded with the most dangerous blow of Clinton N'Zhier.

Cameroonian from the penalty area struck into the far corner, but Igor Akinfeev parried the shot with great difficulty.

However, the owners still looked more dangerous.

So, after a gross mistake by Ivan Ordets, Kuchaev probably shot into the far corner from outside the penalty area.

In this situation, Shunin confidently moved the ball to the corner.

And soon Nikola Vlašić shot into the near corner from outside the penalty area - the shell missed the target a little.

And already in the 20th minute Goncharenko had to make a forced substitution.

Vadim Karpov in a single combat with Vyacheslav Grulev received a broken nose.

Dynamo saw only a yellow card in front of him, and the soldier was forced to leave the field.

Instead, Alan Dzagoev entered the field and took a place in the support zone.

At the same time, Konstantin Maradishvili sank to the right flank of the defense.

And already in the updated combination, the hosts created a couple of unpleasant moments.

In particular, Vlašić once again shot past the target, while Baktiyor Zainutdinov lacked accuracy from the left corner of the penalty area.

CSKA advantage

However, at the very beginning of the second half, CSKA still managed to convert the advantage into a goal scored.

The fans of the team could especially rejoice at the fact that the students of the army team created the goal.

Maradishvili made a pass to Chalov from the right flank, and he threw Kuchaev into the breakthrough with an ideal pass from depth to touch.

Konstantin made the only right decision and calmly threw the shell over Shunin.

For the midfielder of the Russian youth team, this ball became the fifth in the current RPL season, and he caught up with Ezequiel Ponce, Jordan Larsson and Marcus Berg in the tournament scorers race.

After just a few minutes, Goncharenko's wards distinguished themselves again.

This time, after filing a standard and a rebound from Vasin, Edzhuke sent the ball into the near corner and opened the scoring for CSKA.

However, Dynamo immediately reduced the gap to a minimum.

Nikola Moro, having received a pass from Daniil Lesovoy, sent a shell out of the semicircle of the penalty area to the far corner without a chance for Akinfeev.

Soon, the coaching staff of the blue and white decided to refresh the central axis, throwing Nikolai Komlichenko and Charles Caboret into the battle.

However, the castling of the guests immediately lost all meaning, as Dynamo conceded the third goal.

Kuchaev, after a corner kick, returned the ball to the goalkeeper's room, from where Igor Diveyev rebounded into the net.

Finally, all questions about the outcome of the meeting were removed in the 75th minute, when the guests' central defender Roman Evgeniev received a red card.

The footballer did not have time for Zainutdinov in subcategory, and Bezborodov showed him the second yellow card.

However, in the end, Dynamo still had chances to return to the game, but Akinfeev miraculously parried Grulev's shot with a rebound from the lawn literally point-blank.

Thus, CSKA won a second victory in a row and rose to fourth place in the standings.

Moreover, the red and blue won their first victory over an opponent in more than four years.
