Wout Weghorst helped VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday in the Bundesliga with a goal to a 1-1 draw at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Earlier in the day, Peter Bosz booked the first league win against FSV Mainz with Bayer Leverkusen: 0-1.

Weghorst signed five minutes before the end with a shot from the turn for Wolfsburg's equalizer in Mönchengladbach.

Jonas Hofmann had given the home team the lead from a penalty kick seven minutes earlier.

At Leverkusen, Lucas Alario crowned himself the match winner in Mainz.

The Argentinian headed home from a corner and goalkeeper Robin Zentner only managed to turn that effort just behind the goal line.

Daley Sinkgraven participated in the entire competition among the visitors.

Jeremiah St. Juste and Jean-Paul Boëtius completed the ninety minutes at Mainz.

Leverkusen is still unbeaten in the Bundesliga after four games.

'Die Werkself' played a draw in the first three matches and can be found in the middle bracket with six points.

Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller led Bayern Munich to a 1-4 win over Arminia Bielefeld.

Müller opened the score for the visitors in the eighth minute and Lewandowski increased the lead before half time with two long shots to 0-3.

Early in the second half, Müller also made his second of the evening by tapping in a measured cross from Lewandowski.

Former FC Groningen attacker Ritsu Doan then saved the honor for Bielefeld.

In the last fifteen minutes, the visitors played with ten men through a red card for Corentin Tolisso.

With the victory, Bayern climbs to second place with nine points from four matches.
