The coach of the France team Corinne Deacon tested positive for the coronavirus, the FFF announced on Saturday, as did her goalkeeper coach Gilles Fouache.

They will both be forced to stay away from the group and therefore miss the gathering of the Blue scheduled for Monday.

"The coach and her assistant will not be able to participate physically in this camp or in the two qualifying matches for Euro 2022" against North Macedonia on October 23 in Orleans and in Austria on October 27, specifies the FFF in a press release, adding that the team will be run by assistant coach Eric Blahic and physical trainer Anthony Grech Angelini during the rally.
