Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller led Bayern Munich to a 1-4 victory over Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday in the Bundesliga.

Earlier in the day, Peter Bosz booked the first competition victory with Bayer Leverkusen on a visit to FSV Mainz 05: 0-1.

Müller opened the score for Bayern against Bielefeld in the eighth minute.

Even before half-time, Lewandowski increased the lead with two long shots to 0-3.

Early in the second half, Müller also made his second of the evening by tapping in a measured cross from Lewandowski.

Former FC Groningen attacker Ritsu Doan then saved the honor for Bielefeld.

In the last fifteen minutes, the visitors played with ten men through a red card for Corentin Tolisso.

With the victory, Bayern climbs to second place with nine points from four matches.

At Leverkusen, Lucas Alario crowned himself the match winner in Mainz.

The Argentinian headed home from a corner and goalkeeper Robin Zentner only managed to turn that effort just behind the goal line.

Daley Sinkgraven participated in the entire competition among the visitors.

Jeremiah St. Juste and Jean-Paul Boëtius completed the ninety minutes at Mainz.

Leverkusen is still unbeaten in the Bundesliga after four games.
