Granada has booked a victory over Sevilla five days before the Europa League match against PSV.

The Southern Spanish club was 1-0 too strong for the Europa League winner in the La Liga game at home.

The Venezuelan Yangel Herrera made the only goal in Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes eight minutes before the end.

At that time, Sevilla played with a man less after two yellow cards for Jordan just before half-time.

Luuk de Jong started on the bench at Sevilla and came in halfway, while Karim Rekik and former Ajax player Nemanja Gudelj got no playing time.

Thanks to the victory, Granada can work towards the confrontation with PSV with a good feeling.

The team of trainer Diego Martínez has an excellent start to the season and is currently in second place in La Liga with ten points from five games.
