  Sabaletta wrote in the open letter: "Dear fans and friends, after eighteen years of football, I choose to retire today. This wonderful time gives me the opportunity to enjoy some unique and wonderful moments. I always thank you for sharing these moments with me along the way. Thank you to the club, teammates, coaches, especially my family and friends. I have left too many emotions at the best stage in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. you guys!"

  Looking back on his career, Sabaletta started in San Lorenzo, and the Spaniard was the first to join after landing in Europe.

In 2008, Sabarata switched to the Premier League giants Manchester City Club. During the nine years he played here, he and Blue Moon won the Premier League championship three times.

  In 2017, Sabaletta freely transferred to West Ham United. After the end of last season, he did not renew his contract with West Ham United until he announced his retirement.
