When Iga Swiatek beat Sofia Kenin in the final on Saturday, she became the lowest ranked French Open champion on the women's side.

She did not lose a single set throughout the tournament and became the first Polish single to win a grand slam tournament.

- I was in shock for three days.

I can not tell about my feelings, because I do not understand them, says the 19-year-old.

Swiatek talks about how her life changed overnight.

- It's crazy here.

It feels like my life changed completely and I'm trying to get used to it now.

I left a different Poland than the one I came back to.

I'm pretty popular here now.

The Polish woman says that she has enlisted the help of the Japanese star Naomi Osaka to handle the attention.

- I manage quite well, but if I get any problems, Naomi has sent me that I can always ask her for advice and support.

The victory has led Swiatek to raise its goals.

- I have always wanted to win all four grand slam tournaments and take a medal at the Olympics, but I have always seen it as a dream.

But now it stopped feeling so far away for me.
