Amanda Kantzy did not get to play long of this year's season before the injury came in the middle of the premiere.

The X-ray turned out to require an operation and now it must be done according to the club.

The club's own team doctor announces that the operation was successful on Wednesday and now waits four weeks with plaster and then two to six weeks with rehab.

- It is very sad that we are losing such a competent and important player. Amanda has started the season really well and is very important to us. It is gratifying, however, that we were able to have surgery so quickly and that it went well. Amanda is very goal-oriented so I am convinced that she will be back again soon, says Joakim Lantto, the head coach in Södertälje on their website.
