Karl-Erik Nilsson has spent the last few days traveling with Janne Andersson and the Swedish national team.

A national team among many who probably have a lot of travelers to wait for during the European Championships next summer, but the question is whether we will even get there.

As the spread of the coronavirus now picks up speed again, can an EC with 12 host cities be questioned?

- We only notice on the tour we have done now that the number of infections is increasing, the signals we received in Moscow as in Lisbon show that the development is not going in the right direction, says Karl-Erik Nilsson and continues:

- We relate to what we have to start from and that is that we will play in Spain and Ireland and hopefully also in Denmark, Nilsson says.

Have you received any other information about the European Championships from Uefa in connection with the infection increasing again?

- No, it is the usual planning that we follow, but there are probably people sitting at Uefa thinking about what scenarios may come later, but nothing has come up for discussion.

We sincerely hope that it will be possible to play a European Championship next summer, and with an audience, says Nilsson.
