England had a few nightmare minutes at home against Denmark.

First, midfielder Harry Maguire received his second yellow card in the 31st minute, and was sent off.

A few minutes later, Denmark was awarded a penalty, which Christian Eriksen put in for 1-0.

It was also the winning goal for the Danes who go up to second place with seven points after four of six rounds.

England have the same number, but Denmark is ahead through mutual meetings (0-0 in the first meeting between the teams).

Iceland remains scoreless

Belgium tops the group with nine points - group victory means semi-final in the Nations League - after victory away against Iceland on Wednesday, 2-1 through two goals by Romelu Lukaku.

Erik Hamrén's Island still has no points and is thus already ready for relegation to the B-division.

There are other Nordic countries that are trying to take the opposite path and advance to the A-division.

Finland won at home against Ireland with 1-0 - Fredrik Jensen scored the Finns' goal - and with nine points after four rounds, they shadow the table Wales (10 points).

On 18 November, the countries of Wales will meet in what looks to be a pure group final.

Lars Lagerbäck's Norway also has the opportunity for a group victory and promotion after 1-0 at home against Northern Ireland.

An own goal signed by Stuart Dallas was what was required for Norwegian victory, and also there it looks like it will be a close battle for first place.

After four rounds, Austria leads by nine points, as many as Norway.

Austria and Norway will also face each other on 18 November.
