Jesper Karlsson had a great season with Elfsborg and left for Dutch AZ Alkmaar at the end of September.

The shape holds up.

On Friday, he scored two of the goals when Sweden's U21 national team defeated Luxembourg's U21 national team 4-0.

Today he delivered again against Armenia's U21 national team.

Karlsson scored a hat trick in the first half.

First he scored two goals from the penalty spot - then he was released and lifted in 3-0.

Nice innings by Abraham and Hansson

In the second half, Karlsson played until Svante Ingelsson's 4-0 goal.

Paulos Abraham and Emil Hansson jumped into the second half.

Abraham made it 5-0 and then Hansson fixed both 6-0 and 7-0.

The match ended 10-0.

Abraham became a two-goal shooter in the end and Hansson scored a hat trick.

It was also a debut goal for Amin Sarr.

But it is tough for Sweden to reach the U21 European Championships.

The team has two matches left to play in the qualifiers, first Armenia again and then a tough away match against group leader Italy.

At present, Sweden is third in the group, one point behind Italy and Ireland.
