Before the anchor section, IFK Gothenburg was twice at the top.

Sara Hagström and Elin Månsson went out 33 seconds before a strong trio with Alexandersson from Stora Tuna, Lisa Risby from OK Kåre and Helena Bergman from OK Ravinen.

Already in the first half, Alexandersson had taken Stora Tuna to second place and then she was only fifteen seconds behind Sara Hagström who ran for IFK Gothenburg's first team.

In the middle of the distance, Hagström and Alexandersson made different route choices and then the Stora Tuna runner caught up with the missing ten seconds.

They met at a checkpoint and from there Alexandersson had a higher tempo.

She made sure that the Borlänge association's first team won by a margin of 18 seconds.

Second was IFK Gothenburg and third came OK Kåre with Risby on the last leg.

Stora Tuna's winning team consisted of Magdalena Olsson, Henrik Johannesson, Emil Svensk and Alexandersson.

The gold was Alexandersson's second of two possible at the sprint-SM.

Yesterday she won the individual sprint.
