Sweden is still scoreless in the Nations League's senior division.

After two goalless matches (0-1 against France and 0-2 against Portugal), the World Cup silver medalists from Croatia were waiting tonight.

Sweden good in others

The match was a match with two faces.

In the first half, Croatia was superior, and took a fair lead after half an hour of play when Nikola Vlasic ended a fine Croatian attack by finishing right next to Robin Olsen's left post.

But in the second half, Sweden played much better and created several good chances.

In the end, a well-deserved receipt also came.

After 65 minutes, Mikael Lustig came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving FC the lead.

He recorded for Emil Forsberg in the penalty area, who in turn played on to Marcus Berg who was able to put 1-1 free in front of goal.

2-1 with seven minutes left

Every now and then it felt like more spoke for a Swedish 2-1 than a Croatian victory goal.

But with only seven minutes left of regular playing time, Ivan Perisic ran away from Pontus Jansson on a long ball.

Perisic then recorded for the recently replaced Andrej Kramaric who shot via Victor Nilsson Lindelöf in 2-1.

Sweden then pressed for an equalizer, but the hunt became fruitless.

Thus, Sweden remains at zero points, with three matches left to play.

The team that finishes last in the group leaves the top division in the Nations League.
