Anna Nordqvist was second before the final round of the major competition Women's PGA Championship, which was played in American Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

But despite the fact that the Swede was only two strokes behind the leading South Korean Kim Sei-Young, she finally finished a full ten strokes behind the winner.

Nordqvist had a heavy final round and went around in a stroke over par.

Only on the very last hole did she hit a birdie.

In total, the Swede landed four under par.

Kim Sei-Young was the winner of 14 under par when the competition ended on Sunday night, Swedish time.

Five strokes better than the second, compatriot Inbee Park.

It is the South Korean's first major victory.

- My hands and knees injured by nervousness.

This means a lot, it's emotional, said the winner in Viaplay's broadcast.

Pernilla Lindberg finished in a shared 18th place and Madelene Sagström had to share the 23rd place with six other players.

Linnea Ström finished in a split 64th place.

The PGA Championship should have been decided by the end of June but was postponed due to the corona pandemic.
