Muhammad Ikram became famous among billiards circles in Pakistan .. This young man with amputated arms since birth is able to overcome everyone who faces him in this game in Faisalabad, the largest city in the east of the country.

The young Pakistani admires the great precision and power of his strikes, which he strikes with the chin, after years of "hard work" to perfect this art.

Muhammad Ikram was born into a poor family, and lived, like his eight siblings, a difficult childhood during which he felt isolated without any educational achievement.

In his teens, he started attending a pool hall, then liked the game and started practicing its assets "secretly".

"In the beginning, I was throwing balls alone at an empty pool table. Then I gradually developed my skills and started playing with others," he recounts.

Fearing any injury, his parents for a long time prevented him from playing before eventually agreeing to return to practice last year.

Soon, videos surfaced showing him while he was playing, making him a celebrity among Pakistani billiards players.

"I became a known," he says, admitting that he is completely removed from the social media climate.

Billiards, which was introduced to South Asia during the time of British India, occupies an important place in the Pakistani sports arena.

The founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was fond of this game.

Muhammad Ikram is also a "real athlete," according to Muhammad Nadim, the owner of the billiard hall in Samandari, where he trains.

"We don't pay him to play. On the contrary, it's his competitors who are paying him," he says.
