Corona sneaks into Formula 1 cars ... An injury to the Mercedes team

Mercedes did not announce the name of the person infected with the virus, but the team confirmed that the matter was not related to drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.


The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) stated that the positive results were not for known persons.


The Formula 1 season is held amidst strict safety and hygiene rules.

Teams work in bubbles and small bubbles to ensure they participate in the race even if someone catches the virus.


And Sergio Perez, the driver of Racing Point, remains the only driver to have contracted the virus so far.
