Leksand's first chain with Carter Camper, Marek Hrivik and Peter Cehlarik had produced 24 points in four matches so far in the SHL.

But in the home meeting with Växjö, the trio skidded off the ice for the first time this season when Växjö went home with three points.

Martin Lundberg and Fredrik Karlström accounted for the match's only goal in the second period.

Saved 26 pucks

- We let them play their game and they control the pace of the match and we have an incredibly difficult time getting to the goal, says Leksand's team captain Patrik Zachrisson in C More.

Växjö's goalkeeper Erik Källgren stopped 26 pucks and contributed greatly to the victory.

This was Leksand's third straight loss and Växjö's second three-pointer in five matches.
