At Roland-Garros,

And one more on the list.

The matches go by and we are starting to run out of superlatives for Iga Swiatek.

The young Polish woman again demonstrated ease and power on Thursday in the semi-final of Roland Garros.

She evacuated Nadia Podoroska in two small sets and just over an hour of play (6-2 6-1), exactly as she did throughout the fortnight, whether against strangers or at the number 1 seed Simona Halep (swept 6-1 6-2 in the round of 16).

Unperturbed during the meeting, she relaxed once the task was accomplished.

“It's surreal!” She responded.

On the one hand, I know that I can play very good quality tennis and on the other hand it is still a surprise for me.

I never thought I could make it this far.

It's crazy.

I can not believe it.

It's fantastic to me like a dream come true.

I am a little overwhelmed with emotions, I must say.

"

Despite his 19 years, Swiatek, who passed his baccalaureate during confinement, however manages these emotions very well.

Only seconds after the end of the match, she told lucidly what had allowed her to appear so serene on the court.

"I played this match as if it was the first round, so as not to stress and keep this aggressive way of playing, as in previous matches," she described at Fabrice Santoro's microphone.

Challenger in the final, really?

She succeeded, and Podoroska found herself without a solution, like everyone else before her.

On Saturday, the Polish will play the first Grand Slam final of her career at the greats - she won Wimbledon in juniors.

“It's hard to believe.

I think I will realize after the tournament.

For now, I'm living the dream to the end, she assured.

I know the final will be a close, difficult game.

I will be the challenger.

"

On paper, no doubt.

American Sofia Kenin (21) won the last Australian Open and has been extremely solid since the start of the tournament.

But on our side, that's not at all how we see it.
