Juventus reach an agreement to include "Fiorentina captain"

Several Italian media reported on Monday that Fiorentina and Juventus have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of first international striker Federico Chiesa to the second ranks of the soccer champions in the last nine seasons.

The newspaper "Tuttosport" published in Turin wrote that Chiesa will conduct his medical examination on the last day of the transfer period and then sign his contract in Florence, before joining the training camp for his country in Tuscany in preparation for three international matches.

The two clubs confirmed that there were talks at the end of last week.

Juventus had wanted to sign the fast-paced 22-year-old winger last year, with the two clubs negotiating before Fiorentina's management announced that the player was not sellable.

Negotiations between the two clubs opened in recent days after Juventus succeeded in abandoning many players, the last of which was defender Daniele Rugani, to Rennes, France, awaiting the enrollment of Mattia de Sciglio Billion of France, and the return of Brazilian Douglas Costa to Bayern Munich.

The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" stated that Chiesa will be loaned at first for a period of two years, after which it will be officially purchased by Juventus (the purchase option becomes mandatory according to certain criteria).

According to Italian press reports, Fiorentina will receive a total of 55 to 60 million euros 10 million for two years of loan, then 40 million for sale and 5 to 10 million bonuses, indicating that the player will receive an annual salary of five million euros.

Chiesa carried the captain's armband in his last match with Fiorentina against Sampdoria (1-2) on Friday in the third stage of the league.
