Brazilian club Flamengo rejected an offer from Al-Ahly Youth Club to sign Brazilian player Yuri Cesar, in exchange for five million dollars, during the current transfer period, according to Brazilian media.

"Gavia News" newspaper said: "Shabab Al-Ahly made an official offer of 28 million Brazilian reals (five million dollars) to contract with Yuri Cesar," indicating that the latter will complete his loan period to Fortaleza club, which ends next February.

She added, "Flamengo had previously rejected another Emirati offer from Al Ain club, worth $ 2.5 million, in addition to an offer from Spanish club Valladolid for four million euros."

She indicated that one of the main reasons for Flamengo's rejection of Shabab Al-Ahly's offer is that Fortaleza will get 10% of the deal's value, explaining that Cesar's contract extends with Flamingo until December 2024, and the value of the penalty clause in his contract with the club is 300 million Brazilian reals (about 50 million euros) ).
