Al-Ahly of Egypt announces that its goalkeeper Al-Shennawi has been injured in the connective muscle

The Egyptian club Al-Ahly announced today, Monday, that the X-rays that the goalkeeper of the first football team underwent Mohamed El-Shenawy, revealed that he had a strained connective muscle.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the club's football director, said in statements to the official Al-Ahly website, that the medical apparatus had set a special rehabilitation and hospitalization program for the player to equip him at the appropriate time before the scheduled match against Moroccan Wydad on October 17 in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Abdel Hafeez added that the player will perform physiotherapy sessions for several days before he embarks on a physical program without rushing to his return, in order to ensure that he is prepared and cured of the injury in the best way before meeting the Moroccan Wydad.

He confirmed that the duo Ahmed El Sheikh and Junior Ajay participated in the team’s training today, to be ready to face Enppi scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, in the 32nd stage of the Egyptian Premier League.
