Professional baseball Lotte announced that Daiki Iwashita, who has won five wins this season, and two team members of the 1st Army have been infected with the new coronavirus.

According to Lotte, pitcher Iwashita felt unwell on the night of the 3rd, and when he got up on the morning of the 4th and measured his temperature, it was 38 degrees 4 minutes, so he reported it to the team.



After that, as a result of a PCR test at a hospital in Chiba city, it was confirmed that he was infected with the new coronavirus.



Pitcher Iwashita is 24 years old in his sixth year.

This season, he played a part in the rotation and has won 5 wins so far, and he started the game against Nippon-Ham on the 1st of this month.



The following day, I moved from Haneda Airport to the ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba City by car to practice, and practiced at the stadium for 3 days.
