The LA Lakers took direct command of the match, leading more or less from the draft to the final whistle.

Again, Lakers Fix star LeBron James became the best scorer with 33 points scored, closely followed by the weapon bearer Anthony Davis with 32. Davis picked the most rebounds, 14 pieces.

The final score is 124-114 to the Lakers, with the period numbers 29-23, 39-31, 35-39, 21-21.

Not happy with the defense

But despite the dominance, James was not entirely happy with the game.

- Neither I, coach (coach Frank Vogel) nor AD (Davis) were happy with our defensive game tonight.

We know we can play better, says James after the match.

- We play against a dangerous team in Miami.

They have five guys on the field who pose a threat to us, they have shown that now.

The underdog Miami, who played without the injured top players Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, hung on after all with okay and much of the team's fate lay (and lies) in Jimmy Butler's hands.

He became both Miami's best scorer and had the most assists for the team - 25 and 13 respectively.

"Finding ways to do it"

- We never give up.

We will fight to the end, says Jimmy Butler and is supported by his coach Erik Spoelstra:

- If you want something enough, you will find ways to manage it, says the Miami coach about the team's underdog status and the upcoming meetings.

Two more wins are needed before the favorite Lakers can celebrate a 17th NBA title - the club already has five titles from the years in Minneapolis and eleven relegations to Los Angeles in 1960.

- We go into every match with the idea that it is a match that we must win, says Anthony Davis.

The third final match will be played on Monday night, Swedish time.
