Newcomer Team Thoréngruppen got off to a tough start to the season when the team met six-time Swedish champions Storvreta in Uppsala.

The home team won very comfortably - and it would be a lot about the hill Tobias Gustafsson.

Gustafsson scored the first two goals of the match, both times played by Albin Sjögren.

But Gustafsson was not happy there.

When Storvreta went from 5-1 to 10-1 in the third period, Gustafsson scored two more goals.

Newly acquired two-goal shooter

This time it was Alexander Rudd who was responsible for both assists.

In Storvreta, the new acquisition from local rival Sirius, Filip Eriksson, also scored two goals after finding a good collaboration with peer chain partner Hampus Ahren.

The Thorén group had to admit that they broke the deadlock in the premiere when Hampus Öhgren reduced to 4-1 on penalties in the second period.
