This was announced on the official website by Zaragoza on the 2nd.
According to that, Kagawa and Zaragoza both canceled the contract after agreement.
Kagawa, a 31-year-old from Hyogo Prefecture, has long been a major player in the Japanese national team as a midfielder.
Last year, he joined Zaragoza from Dortmund in the first division of Germany with a two-year contract, but last season he scored only four goals due to injuries and other factors.
