Bordeaux, a French professional footballer played by Hwang Eui-jo, the Korean national football team’s striker, wears a uniform with a Korean name on it.



According to the Bordeaux club, the Bordeaux players wear uniforms with their names written in Korean at the home of the 6th round of Dijon and Leagueen tomorrow (4th).



Bordeaux explained that this uniform event is being held to commemorate Chuseok and the upcoming Hangeul Day.



Bordeaux's Korean uniform was worn for the second time in the 12th round of the regular league with Nantes on November 3 of last year after wearing a uniform with both Korean and English names on it.



At the time, Hwang Ui-jo, who wore a uniform with his name written in Korean, scored 1 goal and 1 help, leading a 2-0 victory.



Only Korean names are written on the uniforms that players will wear this year, and Hunmin Jungeum is used to commemorate Hangeul Day.



In addition, the Bordeaux club released a documentary highlighting Hwang Eui-jo through its YouTube channel.



In the documentary, Hwang Eui-jo told stories of his professional life in Seongnam and Gamba Osaka, as well as his life in the national team from his school days when he started to celebrate.
