Barely beaten by Bernard Laporte as President of the French Rugby Federation, Florian Grill estimated, Saturday in Marcoussis, that "the question" of an appeal "could arise".

“It's very tight, we were told 80% -20%.

We have to look precisely at what happened, we had a lot of echoes, speeches after the date of Tuesday night midnight.

I need time to think.

But we will of course look at whether or not to do something.

Appeal ?

It's too early to talk about it but, given the proximity of the scores, the question could logically arise, ”explained the defeated candidate.

A few minutes earlier, Bernard Laporte had just been re-elected at the head of the FFR at 51.47% against 48.53% for his opponent, president of the regional league of Ile-de-France.

"We are waiting for explanations, it is an electronic vote, the results were to be announced five minutes after the close of the poll.

It was almost 30 minutes.

Why ?

It would be good to have an explanation for this delay.

Especially since the result is tight.

Appeal ?

We are going to talk about it with a clear head, ”also launched Jean-Marc Lhermet, No. 2 of the Grill list and former third international line.
