Today, Thursday, through video communication technology, the Football Association organized a workshop to explain and discuss the updated matches protocol approved by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority related to the launch of local football competitions for the 2020-2021 sports season, while the Chairman of the Committee overseeing the application of the protocol, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi revealed about The committee has explained all medical and organizational terms of the match operations protocol, which includes the mechanism for conducting checks before matches, means of transporting players to the match stadium and places of entry, sterilization and division of the stadium, the recommended division of individuals allowed to be on and outside the stadium, match day procedures, stadium facilities, and specific places For television broadcasts, instructions for internal and external camps and residence, and general principles for reopening service facilities in clubs.

The head of the committee overseeing the implementation of the protocol, Dr. Moustafa Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi, Dr. Saeed Al-Thani, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Mukhoot Al-Hajri, a representative of the Professional League, Muhammad Ali Sorour, a representative of the Competitions Department, members of the Committee, and Mohamed Ahmed Al-Sayed, the committee's rapporteur, participated in the workshop.

Al-Hashemi praised the efforts made by health institutions and the competent authorities within the state and their preventive measures adopted by them to maintain the health and safety of all members of society, praising the role of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority for organizing several workshops during the past period with various health authorities, sports councils and the Association of Professionals. The Football Association said in a press statement that more than 120 participants from representatives of clubs, technical, medical and administrative teams of national teams participated in the workshop.
