Hand Union postpones the start of the new season

The Handball Federation announced in a press release today that the launch of the new season 2020-2021 competitions, which were scheduled for next October 2 for the men’s category, and for the fifth of the same month for the youth category, will be postponed until further notice.

The statement indicated that setting a new date for the start of the season will remain subject to the federation obtaining approval from the higher authorities and the relevant sporting authorities to resume activity.

The statement pointed out that the Handball Federation addressed the officials of the General Sports Authority, regarding the health protocol for the precautionary measures that will be applied during the resumption of the handball activity, in addition to sending it to the relevant higher authorities, with the aim of granting approval for it before resuming the activity.
