Disciplinary action against former Olympics representative Aichi Judo Federation Chairman September 29, 20:26

Tsukio Kawahara, chairman of the Aichi Prefectural Judo Federation, who is the judo representative of the Moscow Olympics boycotted by Japan, said that when a relative's player was defeated in an elementary school tournament, he stopped the next match as a referee. The federation has sentenced President Kawahara to a 10-month suspension of membership registration.

According to the All Japan Judo Federation, Chairman Kawahara said that when his relatives lost at a judo tournament for elementary school students hosted by the Aichi Judo Federation in June, despite the fact that the next match had already begun. He shouted, "Why did you lose?" And stopped the progress of the next game.

In addition, Chairman Kawahara delayed the start of the next match by protesting loudly to the referee when a relative's player lost in the same tournament last June, saying, "You should quit."

All Japan Judo Federation has suspended membership registration for 10 months from the 28th of this month, saying that it "shaken the foundation of the refereeing system and impaired the dignity of judo" by protesting the referee's result and suspending the match even though it was the president of the tournament. It was a disciplinary measure.

Chairman Kawahara was active in the All Japan Championships when he was active, and was selected as the representative of the men's 95 kg class at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, which was boycotted by Japan.
