Tomas Axnér, who took over as national team captain for the women's national team at the beginning of March, recently took out his first national team squad.
The squad will play training matches against Poland, Thursday the 1st of October and Saturday the 3rd of October.
The matches are played in Lund and Ystad respectively.
SVT broadcasts both matches in SVT Play.
The broadcasts start at 17.55 both days and the matches are commented on by Chris Härenstam and the expert Magnus Grahn.
Gulldén and Bundsen back
Axnér's first squad includes the big star Isabelle Gulldén.
She has been away from the national team due to maternity leave and corona.
But she is making a comeback to this collection.
- I've had many conversations with Bella.
She feels motivated and eager for handball again, said the league captain at the squad selection almost two weeks ago.
Goalkeeping stars Johanna Bundsen and Johanna Westberg are also making a comeback after maternity leave.
The defensive rock Sabina Jacobsen is missing, however.
The European Championships are played in Norway and Denmark, and the tournament takes place between 3-20 December.
The Swedish national team is supposed to play its matches in Danish Fredrikshamn.
