Guardiola: We have to accept our five-year loss to Leicester City

Manchester City Football Manager Josep Guardiola confirmed that his team must accept the 2/5 loss it suffered against Leicester City on Sunday, and move forward.

The coach was also careful not to blame the team's list of major injuries, and said that beating Wolverhampton in the last game confirms that this argument is incorrect.

"There was no problem in our last game against Wolverhampton, so why did this suddenly become a problem?" Asked Guardiola.

Guardiola said in statements at the press conference published by the club's official website: "We had problems in the attack, this happened in many times in front of this kind of defense."

He added, "They did not come out to squeeze for 80 minutes, but you shouldn't have let them run in dangerous situations."

"Even with this, they didn't run much, but we should have been there when they did," he emphasized.

And he added, "This is what I saw from the bench. But maybe when I watch the replay, I will see different things."

"I don't know how many chances they created. The first goal was not a counterattack, we were in our defensive areas. We must accept defeat," he stressed.
