When HV71 visited Malmö on 21 December 2019, Nils Andersson had his second concussion in a short time.

The time afterwards became difficult, and even today he suffers from a headache.

The obvious risks of continuing to play now make him end his career.

- Now it will be something else.

I need something to be passionate about as I was passionate about ice hockey and now there will be studies at a tech school.

Quitting was a decision that slowly emerged.

One who listened to the heart to continue, the other to reason, he says.

He made his debut at elite level in Björklöven in the Hockeyallsvenskan season 2008/2009, and has played in the SHL for HV71, Växjö, Djurgården and Malmö. He also has three internationals on the merit list.
