The first 27 minutes of the away game against West Bromwich were a real cold shower for Chelsea.

The newcomers had then managed to score three goals against the big team.

Already in the fourth minute came 1-0 through Callum Robinson and 20 minutes later Robinson sent in his and West Bromwich second goals in the match.

In the 27th minute, the home team got a corner.

Darnell Furlong nodded the ball further towards goal but the ball went instead to Kyle Bartley who could steer it into the Chelsea goal, which this evening is guarded by Wilfredo Caballero.

Chelsea then went to halftime break with a 0-3 deficit.

What coach Frank Lampard said to the Chelsea players in the locker room before the second half seems to have helped because in the 55th minute came the first reduction goal through Mason Mount.

And a quarter later came 2-3 when Kai Havertz played beautifully to Callum Hudson-Odoi who sent the ball into goal.

It looked like West Bromwich would take all three points for a long time, but in the third extra minute, Tammy Abraham was perfectly placed just outside the goal line to poke a nasty return from West Bromwich goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

And instead it was 3-3 and a split points pot.
